MagiClip
A Firefox extension for caseworkers. It collects the values a case needs from approved casework pages, shows where sources agree and conflict, and fills the target forms with checked values.
Who it is for
MagiClip is deployed by organisations to their own staff through Firefox enterprise policy. It works with that organisation’s forms library, casework systems and, optionally, its own AI gateway. It is not offered to the public.
How it treats data
- Cases, clips, notes and the activity log are kept in Firefox on the caseworker’s computer and deleted when the case is finished or discarded.
- Reading PDFs and pictures (OCR) and the privacy model run on the computer.
- Case data leaves the computer only for the organisation’s own AI gateway, and only after the caseworker has seen and approved exactly what will be sent. The privacy model is downloaded from Hugging Face, or a server the organisation or caseworker chooses, and no case data is sent with that download.
- Surprisingly Ltd receives nothing: no analytics, telemetry or crash reports.
